What an incredible day! 📚❤️🎒

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2nd Annual Back to School Backpack Festival such a memorable experience for the children in our community. Despite the rain trying to slow us down, it didn’t stop us! We adjusted, persevered, and came together to make sure the children still had an amazing day. Rain couldn’t wash away the love, generosity, and community spirit that was on display.

A heartfelt thank you to every vendor, sponsor, donor, volunteer, and supporter who collaborated with us to bring this event to life. Your generosity, dedication, and willingness to serve made a lasting impact on so many families. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you. We hope the relationships we’ve built through this event continue to grow for years to come as we work together to strengthen our community.Together, we proved that not even the rain could stop a community united for its children. The 3rd Annual Juneteenth Triad Farmers Market was a tremendous success and a wonderful celebration of culture, community, and unity. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the brothers of The Most Respectable Gabriel Lodge 115 for inviting the brothers of Malachi Lodge 23 to be a part of such a meaningful event. It was an honor to fellowship, engage with the community, and celebrate the rich history and significance of Juneteenth alongside so many outstanding individuals and organizations. Thank you to Little Pink Houses of Hope and the Ladies of Light Chapter 601 for inviting the Brothers of Malachi to be a part of such a special Little League baseball event honoring those we love who have passed away, those currently fighting, and the survivors of breast cancer. It was a beautiful day of fellowship, remembrance, and community support. 🎓📚 MALACHI LODGE #23 A.F. & A.M. SCHOLARSHIP PRESENTATION 📚🎓

Today, the Brothers of Malachi Lodge #23 proudly presented Zavariye “Z” Leath with a $250 Academic Scholarship to support his educational journey. A graduating senior at Walter Williams High School, Z has maintained a 4.1 GPA while balancing work at Jimmy John’s and co-owning his own junk removal business. His scholarship application, essay, and recommendation letter reflected the character, leadership, and work ethic that set him apart. We are proud to invest in young leaders like Zavariye who exemplify hard work, discipline, and integrity. Congratulations, Z! We wish you continued success as you begin your next chapter.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to DICK'S Sporting Goods of Burlington for partnering with the brothers of Malachi Lodge 23 and donating 5 cases of brand new cleats to Coach Pinnix and the football team at Hugh M. Cummings High School
Your generosity and commitment to supporting our youth and community is truly appreciated. Opportunities like this help equip our student-athletes with not only the gear they need, but also the confidence and encouragement to keep striving for greatness on and off the field. On behalf of the Brothers of Malachi Lodge 23, we would like to congratulate Mr. Zavariye Leath “Z” for being selected as the recipient of the Malachi Academic Student Scholarship in the amount of $250. Zavariye’s resume speaks for itself, but beyond the accomplishments, he is truly an ideal young man. Z not only maintains a 4.1 GPA as a senior at Walter Williams High School, but he is also an exceptional worker at Jimmy John’s and co-owner of his own junk removal business. In addition to submitting a well-written scholarship letter, Z also provided a strong letter of recommendation from the Financial and Athletic Director of his high school, further reflecting his character, leadership, and work ethic.
