🎶 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥! 🎶
Last week, the River Blenders had the joy of a coaching session with the wonderful 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐫. With International just around the corner later this month, we sharpened our sound, tightened our harmonies, and soaked up some more of her expertise. Thank you, Diane, for the energy, the insight, and the encouragement. We left the risers feeling inspired and even more ready!
But we had a little surprise up our sleeves... 🎁
The 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 5 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐞 began in 2012 and was officially retired in 2026. Over those years, the River Blenders were honored to see our name on it many times, and the region gifted the plaque to our chorus. We knew exactly where it belonged. Diane was the director who brought our chorus to regional and helped prepare the Blenders for their championship journey, so we presented it to her as a thank-you. 🏆💛
