Each quarter East Hardin has a service challenge and this quarter we are raising money for Childhood Cancer Awareness, specifcally the Addison Jo Blair Foundation. Starting September 8th, students and families are encouraged to make donations to the foundation through cash or check. The grade level that donates the most, will win the service challenge! On September 18th, we will have a gold out at school in conjunction with Central Hardin High School!

In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re lighting the Mansion gold to remind kids, families and healthcare heroes they're not in this fight alone. My administration has secured $45.5 million for pediatric cancer research and family support, and we’ll keep fighting until there's a cure.

πŸ“’ WE NEED YOUR HELP!

A vital new bill has just been introducedβ€”the Lainie Jones Comprehensive Cancer Survivorship Act. Led by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, this legislation tackles the critical gaps in survivorship care. For childhood cancer survivors, the battle doesn't end when treatment does. πŸ’”

If passed, this life-changing bill will improve care coordination, ease the transition to adult healthcare, expand access to navigation and fertility services, and support long-term studies on survivorship outcomes. πŸ™

πŸ“§ In honor of National Cancer Survivor Month, please email your U.S. Representative right now and urge them to cosponsor the bill: https://ow.ly/VHT950ZfYuB
