We are a volunteer based organization dedicated to bridging the funding gap for childhood cancer research. Volunteers raise money and shave their heads in solidarity with the victims of the #1 childhood disease killer - cancer. Currently childhood cancers receive less than 4% of research dollars from the National Institutes of Health. Most other cancer organizations give less than a penny per doll

Childhood cancer survival has come a long way.

Today, overall survival is nearly 4 in 5. But behind that number is a different reality. Some childhood cancers now have survival rates above 90%, while others are still as low as 20%. 💔

Hey Squad!

This upcoming Tuesday, June 10th, is Abby Day!! We picked this day to coincide with her birthday because we think she’s absolutely worth celebrating double!

Some of you have reached out to ask how you can celebrate with us. While there is no official Abby Day celebration, we’ve put together some things you can do to support Abby and honor her fight.

💛Wear your Abby Squad shirts and post your pictures! If you haven’t gotten one yet, here’s the link!

💛Send cards or hats to Norton Children’s Hospital for 7W.

💛Donate blood and or platelets! Abby has needed blood several times through her cancer journey which was only possible through generous donations. Visit the Red Cross website to find donation times near you. (There’s a few local to Abby on the 10th!)

💛Visit https://www.cancer.org/cancer/childhood-cancer.html to learn about childhood cancer and how you can help further research.

💛Light a candle in memory of the cancer warriors we were blessed to meet who have gained their wings.

💛Or just have a cupcake! It is Abby’s birthday after all!

The Derby is the "fastest 2 minutes in sports" 🐎 & according to the St. Baldrick's Foundation - "worldwide, a child is diagnosed with cancer every 2 minutes". Kentucky not only leads the way in horses & bourbon🥃 but, also state level childhood cancer research funding & support!

Register below to join us + Governor Andy Beshear & others to proclaim May as Brain Tumor Awareness Month & ice cream to remember our children who have been diagnosed with this dangerous cancer that maintains a 0% survival rate.
Funding research is the only way to safer treatments & better outcomes for our kids.
