I appreciated the opportunity to speak at our Hardin county Kiwanis Club Thursday. This group is doing good things in the community. It was also nice to see my old friend Sharon Post. Thx for inviting me.

Now that school is back in session, we will not only have a guest speaker each week, but we will also be joined by some of the best students in our community. This week we we welcomed Jakob Sherrard and Carolee Coleman as our Central Hardin High School Students of the Month.

Thank you to Linda Turner Funk for sharing information about Warm Blessings Soup Kitchen and all they are doing to help those in our community who in need. You may be surprised to know that Warm Blessings provides more than just meals, they also provide showers, laundry facilities, personal care items, and much more! Warm Blessings needs volunteers to deliver meals to seniors. Pictured are volunteers as they get their packaged meals for delivery. We do Senior Meal Delivery on Monday and Thursday at 5:00 and volunteers commit to delivering one or the other of those days. You must attend an orientation meeting (20 minutes or so) and agree to a background check. If you are interested please call Linda at 270-307-2858. Thank you!
