A community consultation meeting was held on January 25, 2025, and the purchase agreement for the Masjid in El Cajon City was finalized. All community members expressed their support and contributions.

Congratulations to the Afghan community and the Muslim community on the establishment of a Masjid in El Cajon City! The Afghan Community Culture Center has officially purchased the property 1324 E Main St, El Cajon, CA 92021 in $2.8M، and we have made the first payment of $200000 today. We will soon gain access to the property and the Masjid.

We are seeking donations to help pay off the Masjid as soon as possible. The purchase agreement and future plan will be made available to the public soon.

The Afghan Community Board, along with its dedicated leaders, is diligently working towards the purchase of a Masjid in El Cajon. This initiative aims to create a welcoming and vibrant space for the Afghan community, providing a place for prayers, worship, social gatherings, and cultural events. The Masjid will also serve as a valuable resource for the youth, offering educational programs, mentorship opportunities, and recreational activities that promote personal growth and community engagement. By establishing this Masjid, the board seeks to strengthen cultural ties and ensure that future generations have a supportive environment in which to thrive.
