License to Freedom recently brought 15 Farsi, Dari, and Pashto-speaking community members to the San Diego County Administration Building for an informative workshop focused on understanding local government.
Participants learned about the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, the role it plays in our region, and how residents can connect with County resources, programs, and services available to them.
To make the workshop accessible to everyone, License to Freedom’s Naim provided translated materials along with Dari and Pashto interpretation throughout the session, helping participants understand the information, ask questions, and engage in the discussion.
At License to Freedom, we believe access to clear information is an important part of helping community members understand the systems and resources available to them.
