Today, we wrap up 2025, and we're sending out a whole lot of LOVE to local cancer patients. 🎁

With YOUR help, Fear Nothing has provided $52,000 in gasoline cards THIS YEAR ALONE!! You have given so generously so that we may ease the burden and brighten the days of those battling cancer in our community.

There are SO many others in addition to these photos.... school functions, churches, businesses, memorial tributes... we love and appreciate each and every one of you so very much. ❤️💚

Founded by cancer survivor Jodi Waymoth, Fear Nothing is a local nonprofit providing meaningful support to cancer patients and their families across Effingham County and surrounding communities. From practical assistance to encouragement during treatment, their work is making a real impact close to home.

This Chamber membership was made possible through the Pay It Forward Program, sponsored by J&J Gaming, a Chamber Capital Investor, helping local nonprofits expand their reach and connections.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, members of the Effingham Fire Department have proudly worn pink duty shirts throughout October to show our support for those affected by cancer.

These same shirts were also made available to our community through our T-shirt Fundraiser, and thanks to your incredible generosity, we were able to raise funds to support Fear Nothing, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families impacted by cancer.

Today, we were honored to present a check to Fear Nothing to assist in their mission of providing hope, comfort, and strength to those who need it most.
