Whitley's Wishes, Inc.

Whitley's Wishes, Inc. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization created in memory of my daughter, Whitley Hedger. She was 13 years old. Many causes were close to her heart.

Whitley's Wishes is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization established to honor the memory of my daughter, Whitley Sue Hedger who died March 30, 2015 from a brain tumor called DIPG, diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. Whitley was active in dance, piano and softball and was an honor roll student at Lincoln Middle School. I am very proud of my daughter not only for her achievements, but for her

caring and giving nature. Whether it be other sick children or abused or endangered animals, Whitley was always looking out for the disadvantaged. Whitley's Wishes is based on these causes and things that she actually wished for in her short time here with us.

This is the face of brain cancer. It still shatters everything inside me to say that. The things she shouldn’t have had to endure and we shouldn’t have had to watch, haunt me. It is a torturous disease that no person should have to suffer, especially not a child. It’s Brain Cancer Awareness Month. Please help us wipe DIPG from the face of the planet. Donate today at www.whitleyswishes.org .

It’s Brain Cancer Awareness Month. I make these gray cancer ribbons each year to help spread awareness. They display beautifully on any front door or window. If you would like to help me get the word out about DIPG, please send me a PM. I’d love to cover as many doors as possible! We are requesting a small donation for each ribbon.

My 13 year old daughter lost her life to DIPG, peadiatric brain cancer. I created Whitley's Wishes to honor her memory and help find a cure for this devastating disease.

These 2/2 Troopers worked hard on these pretty pots of flowers and it paid off! They raised over $700 at their plant sale this morning! Thanks to everyone who came and purchased a pot from them and a special thanks to Mike Jennings who took care of all of his Mother’s Day shopping when he bought us out when the rain came! And we are so grateful to Restore Decor for hosting us today! Dana and all the volunteers are so amazing!
