Our Women Supporting Women Campaign line up has now been fully announced! Instead of traditional meetings during the summer months, we like to spotlight the women-owned businesses in our little community. For just one hour, these lovely ladies open their business doors for an exclusive shopping event where we listen to their entrepreneurial journey & after we get to ask questions! These events are open to the public who are looking to support local women-owned businesses or individuals interested in joining our organization, Illinois Federation of Business Women's Clubs, Inc! Come out & be sure to make room in your car & bring a wallet (it doesn't have to be your wallet, it just has to have money in it🤪)
Join us on our WSW Campaign & help support these awesome businesses:
(PAST) June 19th, 2023 from 6-7pm with Suessie's Resale UBNA
July 17th, 2023 from 6-7pm with Bonnie’s Boutique
August 21st, 2023 from 6-7pm with Emporium on Main
September 18th, 2023 from 6-7pm with Style & Grace Boutique Est. 2023

We have now posted each individual event as a Facebook event, so be sure to mark yourself as Interested or Going to keep yourself updated! We may also turn our traditional October meeting into a WSW Campaign event; however, we will make that decision closer to that time. Interested in getting your local women-owned business on the list to visit for next year? Comment that business below! In past years, we have had the opportunity to feature Down to Earth Sustainability, Designed with Detail, Uprooted by Willow & Birch & The Vintage Dresser Boutique along with a couple others.

The Illinois Federation of Business Women - Metro East will be awarding one $1,000.00 Community Scholarship to any female who is interested in furthering her education at the college/vocational level within the boundaries of the Edwardsville Community Unit School District #7, the City of Edwardsville, or the Village of Glen Carbon. Scholarship Application and more information including eligibility can be found on the Illinois Federation of Business Women’s Clubs, Inc. (IFBWC) website: ifbwc.org by selecting Education under the triple bar icon. Applications must be completed and postmarked by April 7, 2023

IFBPW still meeting on 2nd Thursday of each month at Bella Milano.
Lena Stanley Scholarship applications will be delivered to the 3 area HS's.
There is a Community Scholarship available to women over 24 yrs of age seeking degrees .

Last night IFBW-Metro East club welcomed our five Lena Stanley Scholarship winners and their families. The exciting event was celebrated at Bella Milano.

Another donation check was dropped off at Oasis Women's Center, Alton. We are into a new fiscal year and voted to donate more funds.

This awesome center does SO much for area women in need. They are currently in a matching funds campaign so we were able to double the funds given!!!

With State funds still not coming, we are proud to do as much as we can.
