As we close out DSP Recognition Week, we’re celebrating the incredible people who show up every day with compassion, dignity and respect. ❤️

We’re proud to share these words from one of our own, Cindy Solis.

To all of the NJID DSPs thank you for all you do, today and every day. ❤️

It takes a village to raise a child and at Lakeview School, that village shows up every single day 💙💛

For our students, back-to-school means a little bit more. It means returning to a place where education, therapy, care, encouragement and connection all come together to help each student learn, grow and thrive.

We’re incredibly grateful to NBC News for spending the day with our Lakeview students and sharing a glimpse into what a day at Lakeview truly looks like and the dedicated team that makes it all possible.

🎥 Take a few minutes to watch this special story and see the Lakeview School in action

The Lakeview School in New Jersey sets a high standard in providing education for students with disabilities. It also provides on-site medical needs. Odalys Molina reports.

💙 Celebrating Direct Support Professional Appreciation Week | September 13–19! 💛

This week, we proudly celebrate the incredible DSPs who bring compassion, dedication, encouragement, and heart to their work every single day.

At NJID, our Direct Support Professionals play an essential role in empowering the individuals we serve to live full and meaningful lives. Their impact reaches far beyond their daily responsibilities…they build relationships, create opportunities, and make better days possible.

To all of our amazing DSPs: thank you for all that you do. This week is for YOU! 💙💛

On the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001, we pause to remember and honor the lives forever changed by that tragic day.

We remember those who were lost, honor the courage and selflessness of the first responders, and recognize the strength of the survivors, their families, and communities across our nation.

May we continue to carry forward the spirit of compassion, courage, and unity that brought us together in the days that followed.
