📚 Fall Book Fair & Staff Appreciation Lunch! 🥪💛♥️🖤

It’s almost time for fall conferences at Hedden, which means our Fall Book Fair is just around the corner! We have two ways you can help make conference week extra special. 🧡

📚 Fall Book Fair | October 14–16

Our students love getting to visit the Book Fair during their conferences! It takes lots of helping hands to make it happen, and we’d love your help. If you’re available to volunteer for a shift, please sign up using the link below. As a thank-you, you’ll receive $10 in Scholastic credit for every shift you work to spend at the Book Fair! 🎉

Our hardworking staff puts in extra time and energy during conference week, and we want to show them how much they’re appreciated! We’ll be providing lunch on Thursday and are looking for donations of food and drinks to help make it happen.

Who doesn’t love a little extra fun on a Friday?! We host a special recess event every Friday, and we’d love your help making it happen!

📖 First Friday of the month: $1 Book Sales
🍬 All other Fridays: $0.50 Treat Sales

If you’re planning to volunteer inside Hedden Elementary or be a chaperone on a field trip during the 2026–27 school year, you must have an approved volunteer application on file before volunteering.

Board policy requires all volunteers to update their application information every school year, even if you have volunteered in the past.

👉 If you volunteered last year, please update your application for the new school year.
👉 If you’ve never completed an application, you’ll need to complete one for the first time.

🌸✨ Thank you for an amazing SpringFest! ✨🌸

The Hedden Elementary PTO and the Discovery PTO would like to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and joined us for SpringFest! We loved seeing so many families enjoying the games, activities, and community fun alongside our friends from across the district. 💛

We especially want to thank all of our incredible volunteers who helped run stations, set up, clean up, and make the event possible. Events like this truly wouldn’t happen without your time and support!
