⚡📚 Nothing stops the Book Fair... not even a power outage! 📚⚡The power is on, the books are out, and the Discovery Book Fair is OPEN! 🚀 Come swing by, browse the shelves, and check out all the great new books from Literati. There’s something for every reader! We’re up and running until 6:00 pm tonight and tomorrow until noon so come on by! 📖

The Book Fair got a glow-up. ✨ New company, fresh books, and some pretty amazing surprises for Discovery students! 🚀

We’re so excited to be working with Literati for our upcoming Book Fair! Come check out a fresh selection of new releases, favorite titles, and lots of great books for young readers.
We’re also incredibly grateful for some very generous donors who are helping put even more books into the hands of Discovery students and teachers! 💛
📖 An anonymous donor gave $500 in the name of Dolly Parton to purchase books for classrooms.
📖 Salon Ish generously donated $250 for classroom books. https://www.salonish.com
📖 And Mr. Randall’s dad is donating A BOOK FOR EVERY student at Discovery! Those special books will come home with students after the Book Fair closes. How amazing is that?! 🥰

So come check it out, support our school, and help us celebrate a whole lot of reading at Discovery! 📚✨

Dear Families,
Students in our school have been working very hard to follow our AIM expectations:
Always be respectful I solve my problems Make responsible choices
Each time a student is noticed following the AIM expectations, they receive a sticker. When a child gets 10 stickers, they get to sign the class tens frame. When a class fills up their class tens frame, the class earns a puff ball for the school rocket ship.
Our school has filled up our rocket ship and has earned COLOR WARS on Thursday, October 8th! Kindergarten students can wear green, 1st graders can wear red, and 2nd graders can wear blue. This is an optional activity.
Please help us celebrate the excellent choices children are making here at Discovery and congratulate your child!

Never helped during our book fair? No problem! We will teach you (it’s easy 🥰)

🚀 Discovery is doing a food (granola bars only)and clothing (any wearable item, any size, any condition) drive October 1st-16th.

We will have the collection bins in the main entryway.
