Habitat Putnam ReStore

Habitat Putnam ReStore Serving the Lake Country area, the Habitat Putnam ReStore is the store that builds homes, communities, and hope. It encourages family and community stability.

All profits support Habitat for Humanity’s homeownership programs for local, hard-working families. Watch your volunteer time make a significant difference. Three or four hours of your time will help provide a home for a deserving local family. Habitat for Humanity is a Christian based, local volunteer community program to provide decent, affordable housing. It has provided 15 local families with

a decent, comfortable home. You can work in retail sales, donation pick-ups, on the job house building, and much more. We also need legal and accounting professional expertise. Volunteers are essential to keep this inspirational community effort operating. Please stop in or contact anyone in the HfH ReStore at 1027 Lake Oconee Parkway (ph 706 991 1600) for information on donations, volunteer opportunities, or with any questions.

🛍️ Introducing Vick’s Picks!

Every Friday, Vicki, our Client Relations Specialist, will be sharing three of her favorite finds currently in the ReStore. From furniture to unique treasures, you never know what might make the list!

Here are Vicki’s picks for this week:

🪑 19th Century Eastlake Style Walnut Dresser - original hardware & no restorations
“I love this piece because it is in fantastic shape and I just love the handles on it. It is hand carved/made and we even found a Christmas card from Greensboro Baptist Church (1916) inside it, which adds to the history of it!”

🏡 1935 Gulbransen Console Radio
“I love knowing that a family sat around this radio and got their news, they heard about the war and also were entertained. I also love that the owner wrote dates on the different parts of the machinery when doing repairs.”

✨Stiles Brothers by Bauer International Wicker Gondola Sofa
“This sofa is just one of a kind, its the type of piece that is just interesting and catches the eye. I have taken to calling it a commitment piece, and I cannot wait to see it go to the person with the personality to match it!”

The best part? Every purchase helps Habitat for Humanity of Putnam build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. Come see these picks for yourself while they're still here!
