More than signatures. A promise.

During the inaugural Cuscowilla Fore Good Un-Classic Golf Tournament, golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters were invited to sign a Community Beam that will one day be incorporated into the first Habitat home built at Carter Crossing.

Each signature represents a shared belief that everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home.

As Carter Crossing continues to move forward, this beam serves as a reminder that the future neighborhood is being built not only with lumber and nails, but through the generosity, partnership, and shared vision of an entire community.

We're grateful to everyone helping build the future of Carter Crossing, one milestone at a time.

Tuesday was a special day in Putnam County as we officially dedicated Habitat House #29 and celebrated a new beginning for Candice and her family. 💙🏡

For this hardworking family, homeownership represents stability, opportunity, and a place to build lasting memories together.

We are incredibly grateful for the many people and partners who helped make this home possible and joined us to celebrate at the dedication ceremony. Mike G. presented the keys on behalf of Publix Super Markets Charities, alongside representatives from Harbin Lumber, Interfor, Farmers & Merchants Bank, Citizens of Georgia Power, and Putnam County.

The morning was made even more meaningful thanks to the thoughtful touches from our community, including refreshments provided by the Cuscowilla Women’s Club, a beautiful custom watercolor painting of the home gifted by Scarlett M., a floral arrangement presented by Brandy H., and handmade quilts for the children created by longtime supporter Renee H.

Days like this are a powerful reminder that affordable homeownership truly takes a community coming together.

Congratulations, Candice and family. Welcome home. 🏠✨

Still smiling from Saturday night. Thank you Wynn, Trent, and Josh for an unforgettable evening. Love builds here. 💙

What a night.

We’re still taking it all in. Songwriters Night: 'Love Builds Here' brought together an incredible group of people, and because of this community, we were able to raise over $70,000 to support affordable housing right here in Putnam County.

A heartfelt thank you to:
- Briarpatch Farm and hosts Mike & Kathy Rainey for opening their space and making the night so special
- Wynn Varble, Trent Tomlinson, and Josh Phillips for sharing their music and stories
- Our Community Partners, Farmers & Merchants Bank and Walmart, for their support
- And every single person who showed up, gave, and made the night what it was

This is what it looks like when a community comes together.

Because of you, more families in Putnam County are one step closer to home.

🛠️ Building Hope on Site: Habitat House #29

Construction is officially moving forward on Habitat House #29, and we are especially excited for Candice and her family as they continue completing their sweat equity hours and take meaningful steps toward homeownership.

Every volunteer day, every finished task, and every hour invested brings this family closer to a safe and stable place to call home — right here in Putnam County. 💛

Thank you to everyone who continues to show up, serve, and help make homeownership possible in our community.
