💔It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Tater, one of our beloved canine residents, crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. Tater spent almost two years at The Center after being abandoned at a hotel. While Tater did not get the second chance outside the shelter that we all wanted for him, he had a family here that loved and adored him to max capacity. We are so grateful for all of the volunteers and staff who cared for him, spent time with him, and spoiled him like he was their own. Cancer may have taken his life far too soon, but because of so many caring and compassionate people, it did not take away his chance to be loved like he deserved. Tater was a sweet soul who stole the hearts of all those who got to know him. He loved car rides, belly rubs, and cuddle time on the couch. He was always up for a day out and a pup cup - and could rock a sweater like few other pups could. Tater has left a permanent paw print on our hearts and will be greatly missed. Rest easy, Tater Tot.🐾🌈
In memory of Tater, please consider opening up your heart to another dog or cat who has been waiting far too long to find their forever home.
