As we gather with family and friends, may we also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day and remember those who gave their lives for the freedoms we enjoy.

BACK TO SCHOOL WILL BE HERE BEFORE WE KNOW IT… AND WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🎒✏️

While students are getting ready to enjoy summer break, we’re already preparing to help local students head back to school equipped, confident, and ready to learn!

The Wilson Area LINCS Coalition for Families & Youth is collecting school supply donations for our upcoming Back to School Drive because every child deserves to start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

📚 We have a current needed items list attached, however as additional supply needs are finalized, we’ll continue to share updates.

No donation is too small.. every backpack, notebook, pencil, and contribution helps make a difference for a student in our community.

Summer may be approaching… but back to school will be here before we know it! Help us get ahead and support our students today. 💙💛

As we recognize Pennsylvania Prevention Week, Wilson Area LINCS Coalition for Families and Youth is proud to advocate for the importance of prevention and community-based support services for children, youth, and families.

Recently, our Executive Director, Trina Johnson-Brady, joined the Executive Director and a fellow board member of Commonwealth Prevention Alliance to meet with Nathan Gerace, Northeast Director for U.S. Senator Dave McCormick. The meeting focused on the critical importance of continued federal funding for local prevention and community initiatives like the Wilson Area LINCS Communities That Care Coalition.

These investments help communities provide evidence-based prevention programming, strengthen families, support youth mental health, and create safer, healthier futures for all.

We appreciate the opportunity to share the impact of prevention work happening locally and are grateful for a productive and encouraging conversation about the value of supporting community-driven initiatives across Pennsylvania.

The Wilson Area LINCS Open House and Donor Recognition Event would not have been possible without the leadership, dedication, and hard work of our Board of Directors and committees.

From planning and organizing to welcoming guests and supporting every detail of the evening, our board members played a critical role in making the event such a success. We especially want to recognize the chairs and members of the Institutional Advancement Committee for their time, creativity, and commitment to strengthening community relationships and helping showcase the impact of LINCS.

Their efforts helped create an evening that celebrated not only our programs and services, but also the partnerships and people who make this work possible every day.

We are grateful to have a board that is actively engaged, passionate about our mission, and dedicated to helping Wilson Area LINCS continue to grow and serve children, youth, and families throughout our community.

Thank you to our Board of Directors for your leadership, service, and continued support of the LINCS mission.
