Today, Bright School’s newest classroom building was officially opened, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local officials, TR partners, and dignitaries. Our two earlier buildings are called New York and London. So what do you think the name of this new building is?
It’s a Kinyarwanda name…maybe Kigali, for Rwanda’s capital? Karisimbi for the highest mountain in the country? One of the gorilla names such as Rwandanziza (beautiful Rwanda) or Cyubahiro (respect)? Close! The name chosen is Icyizere, which means “hope.”
For sure, hopes and dreams come true every day at Bright School, where children are treated with respect and learning is a joyful experience! Thanks to all who donated funds to make this dream of completing all classrooms on our own campus come true!
