Dear Fellow Star Enthusiasts,

Just a reminder that tonight's, What's up in the Night Sky? at our STARS To STEM, Inc. Regional Planetarium took place last week.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. However, tonight is a night to recognize our education. director Dr. Leslie Brown! Tonight at 8:15 PM Connecticut College will unveil the new telescope in their observatory. There will be an opening ceremony and a dedication to honor Doc Brown who has served as an associate professor at the college for for 32 years.

During her tenure she has inspired countless scholars! As a member of our board of directors, she's an asset to TEAM STARS!

With Niantic Main Street – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉

Mother nature had other plans today...

We had to pull the plug on debuting our portable planetarium at the Niantic Artisan and Vintage Market due to rain!😥🌧

However, I was able to test it out and I have to say, it's pretty cool! 😎

Entering the dome, I felt like my 7 year old self going to the planetarium at East Lyme High School for the first time.

I know Mr. Bloom, Mr. Meyer and Rob were with me in spirit!😇🥰

Thanks Melissa Victor for being my support system!

As I walked through the door to our portable planetarium, I was in awe of the vast space within the 7M dome.😲

We will be able to fit seventy children or fifty adults/children at any given time!!!🌠💫🌌

STARS To STEM, Inc.'s outreach capabilities just grew!!! We now have an opportunity to bring our portable projector and dome on the road. 🚸🚦

I can't thank everyone enough for continuing to support my crazy ideas.🤩

Your generous donations are helping to make what I was told was impossible become a reality.💰💰

As I tell my students often, "If you believe you will achieve!" Also, there will be road blocks to navigate, 🚧🛑 but if you want something bad enough, you can make it happen! 👷‍♀️💪

Today's the day! Come visit STARS to STEM, Inc. at Pro Tek Auto as we will be showcasing our brand new "portable planetarium!"

Starting at 10:15 we will be running shows throughout the day.

Come join us and be one of our first patrons!

⭐🌙⭐What's Up in Our Night Skies planetarium program.🌙🌤🌙

Date: May 22nd, 2026 from 7:00 -8:00 PM EDT.
Optional star and planet tours are available after the planetarium show, weather permitting. 🔭

Please join us at the STARS to STEM Regional Planetarium, located at the rear of the East Lyme High School to learn about what celestial events, planets and constellations will grace our skies this June, 2026. The cost is $10 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
