Viewing images of kindness helps us to see the good in the world and inspires us to act with kindness in our own lives. That is why we are so happy to see publications around the world sharing the images from this year’s Our World is Kind photo contest. In the midst of so much difficult news in the world recently, we hope that these images of kindness across the globe help to spread hope and love. People want to see kindness, and the more these images are shared, the more positive impact they can have. Announcing the award recipients of this year’s Our World is Kind international photography contest! We are excited to share the finalist images from this year’s Our World is Kind contest! The AI “Inner Visions” category was a special addition last year and the image submissions blew us away, so we decided to continue the category this year. We view AI images as a different kind of art than traditional photography, so we judge them completely separately from the traditional photography submissions.

We were very interested to see what likes of kindness images you would imagine and create with no limitations in the AI “Inner Visions” contest category— and you imagined very beautiful kindness moments and gestures! Thank you for sharing your visions of a kind and caring world.

Public choice voting is now open for the Our World is Kind photo contest! Ten finalists for the contest will be chosen through public choice. Follow the link in our bio to visit the gallery and vote for up to 15 of your favorite images! You can browse at random, or use the search bar to find a specific photographer’s work using either their first or their last name. Public choice voting will close on January 13th at 11:59pm EST.

2026 ZEKE Awards open for submissions

Two awards will be given to photographers in the following categories:
• ZEKE Award for Documentary Photography
• ZEKE Award for Systemic Change
Each awardee will receive $2,500

Deadline for submissions: January 15, 2026.
