Welcome, Kim Rebecca-Murray, to the Sims-Fayola Foundation
The Sims-Fayola Foundation is proud to welcome Kim Rebecca-Murray as our new Executive Operations & Strategy Partner to the Founder & CEO.
Kim brings extensive experience in executive operations, organizational strategy, knowledge management, and institutional development across mission-driven organizations. Her work combines systems thinking with disciplined operational design, helping leaders and organizations build the structures, processes, and knowledge systems necessary to translate strategy into consistent practice.
Her background spans higher education, nonprofit governance, philanthropy, consulting, and international service. Kim previously served as a faculty member at Dillard University and Southern University at New Orleans and as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras. She has also served as Director of Knowledge Management & Training at a leading donor-advised fund provider, led governance and development efforts as a board trustee, and advised organizations navigating strategic planning, organizational redesign, and knowledge transfer.
Kim is also the Principal of KRM Knowledge & Marketing Strategies, where she has supported leaders and organizations in strengthening strategy, institutional knowledge, organizational systems, and executive operations.
Kim joins Sims-Fayola at an important point in our evolution.
As we advance Vision 2030, SFF is intentionally strengthening the infrastructure required to operate as a durable systems-influence organization. That means building an organization where strategy is translated into clear responsibilities, knowledge is retained and accessible, decisions have ownership, and the Office of the CEO has the systems necessary to maintain focus on the work that requires executive leadership.
In her role, Kim will work closely with the Founder & CEO to strengthen executive operations, organizational alignment, knowledge management, strategic follow-through, and the systems and rhythms that support effective leadership across the Foundation.
Her work will help ensure that the organization we are building internally is capable of sustaining the impact we seek externally. Please join us in welcoming Kim Rebecca-Murray to the Sims-Fayola Foundation team.
