✳️CHP+ Dollar Limits Removed✳️

📍Starting July 1, 2026, dollar limits have been removed for all CHP+ benefits. This change affects three benefits: durable medical equipment (DME), organ transplants, and eyeglasses.

📍The $2,000 dollar limit for DME has been removed, and the $1 million lifetime limit on transplants has also been removed.

📍For eyeglasses, Colorado Access will cover one pair of eyeglasses per year for an in-network provider, with no limit on cost. Prior authorization is required for contact lenses if glasses will not correct your vision or if you need replacement glasses.

💕Prenatal visits are a must, even if you feel fine. They are important for your doctor to check on you and your growing baby. The earlier you get prenatal care, the better your chances are for a healthy pregnancy and baby.

💕You can talk about things like medications or supplements you are taking at these visits. You can also talk about pregnancy symptoms. Or your wishes for family planning and contraceptives. You can also ask your doctor other questions you have.

Starting January 1, 2027, some adults may need to show work, school, training, or volunteer activities to keep their Health First Colorado coverage. These are called work requirements.

These changes don’t apply to everyone. Many people, including caregivers, people with disabilities, those enrolled in Medicare or SSI/SSDI, and others, may not need to take action. This is not a complete list.

What you can do now:
