In light of a December 23, 2024, federal Court of Appeals decision, reporting companies, except as indicated on the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, are once again required to file beneficial ownership information with FinCEN.

However, because the Department of the Treasury recognizes that reporting companies may need additional time to comply given the period when the preliminary injunction had been in effect, we have extended the reporting deadline. Visit the website for instructions on how to file.

🍳 Southwest Food Coalition
🏡 Montevista Mobile Home Co-op
🏙️ Queen City Co-op

They had the unique opportunity to collaborate with other cooperatives in Denver, fostering relationships and strengthening ties within the community. This immersion shed light on the cooperative ecosystem in Colorado and its wider impact on co-ops nationwide.'

"The opportunity to learn about cooperatives from members themselves is impactful, especially in a landscape like Colorado, which boasts a vast and dynamic co-op ecosystem,” said CDF Associate Director Kirstie Boyette. “The cohort can apply learnings from the co-ops and each other to strengthen their work in their own communities.” Read more

We have an important call to action for all supporters of local agriculture and food security! The LFPA (Local Food Purchase Assistance) program, which helps food pantries buy directly from Colorado's hardworking farmers and ranchers, is set to end on March 31, 2025. This is a vital resource for our community, and we need your help to ensure it continues!

To help us reach our goal, add your name to the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition's letter urging Secretary Vilsack to secure continued funding for LFPA. Click the link below to sign by this Friday, September 13th. Help us exceed the NSAC's goal of 250 signatures!

Your support ensures that our local farmers can keep growing, and our food pantries can keep providing fresh, nutritious food to those in need. Together, we can make a big impact!
