Se necesita un fotógrafo con dron en Eagle Pass o Piedras Negras para el Servicio de Vigilia Fronteriza, el 1 de junio de 2026 a las 8:00 p. m. El servicio conmemorativo se llevará a cabo de manera conjunta desde ambos lados del Río Grande, y nos gustaría capturar el momento en que tenga lugar este servicio binacional. Esta noche, 4 de mayo, a las 7:45 p. m., se recordarán dos fallecimientos ocurridos en abril durante el Servicio Conmemorativo de la Vigilia Fronteriza (Border Vigil). Acompáñenos en la rampa para botes de Shelby Park, en Eagle Pass, TX, para un servicio de cantos, tras el cual depositaremos flores blancas sobre las aguas del Río Grande para recordar a quienes perdieron la vida durante el mes pasado.

2 deaths in April will be remembered at the Border Vigil Memorial Service tonight May 4 at 7:45 PM. Please join us at the Shelby Park Boat Ramp in Eagle Pass, TX for a service of song after which we will lay white flowers on the waves of the Rio Grande to remember those who have lost their lives this past month.

Soldiers climbed on top of the containers after our service began and drones flew over us as we were locked out of the boat ramp again.

New this month - soldiers shouted at us to not to approach the Rio Grande with our flowers

We've held the memorial service every month since 2023, not even when the front gates were barred in 2024 were we treated in this way, we were always allowed to worship freely, to remember those who died in our county.

Shelby Park is not open to the people of Eagle Pass.

Nuestras flores portan un mensaje: las flores amarillas —a menudo girasoles de la región— representan un mes sin muertes registradas, mientras que las flores blancas rinden homenaje a quienes han fallecido.

Acabamos de enterarnos de que, para el servicio de este mes, utilizaremos flores blancas. Esto se debe al hallazgo de dos conjuntos de restos humanos en el condado de Maverick durante el mes de marzo de 2026. Les invitamos a unirse a nosotros para recordar a estas personas —así como a todos aquellos que han perdido la vida a lo largo de nuestra frontera— el lunes 6 de abril, a las 7:30 p. m., en la rampa para botes de Shelby Park, en Eagle Pass, Texas. Hemos solicitado que se abran los portones para la celebración de nuestro servicio habitual de los lunes por la noche.
