Many on the STAAC team often work around the clock and collaborate with so many incredible people to continue pushing our mission forward, and this is one example of where that work can lead. 💙♾️

We are excited to share that Zenaida Rodriguez, Mission Director for the South Texas All Abilities Center, is now a Math Ambassador with the Simons Foundation’s Infinite Sums initiative!

Infinite Sums recently sat down with Zenaida to highlight how STAAC is making math meaningful and approachable for individuals with disabilities through everyday experiences, from Kitchen Skills and Pi Day to Infinity Day and even plans for our future Mosaic Eagle Inclusive Children’s Museum.

As Zenaida shared, “everything has math; it’s just about taking the time to identify those underlying components.”

We are incredibly grateful to the Simons Foundation and Infinite Sums for believing in our ideas, investing in our community, and helping shine a light on the meaningful work happening right here in Eagle Pass. 💙

We’re proud of how far these ideas have come and even more excited about where they’re going next!
