Today, our Winn NHS members continued serving at Summer GT Camp as we begin the final week of camp! Members helped assemble balloon arches, prepare goodie bags, and assist with setting up for a bilingual event.

A big thank you to our Winn NHS members for continuing to volunteer at Summer GT Camp! Today, our members helped create three display collages for parents by cutting, organizing, and pasting photos onto trifold boards showcasing the students’ activities throughout camp. They also assisted the 1st and 2nd grade classes with their density projects, helping students learn through hands-on STEM activities.

Thank you to our Winn NHS members for volunteering at today’s Summer GT Camp Technology Expo!

Members were split into three groups: assisting in the hospitality room, providing water to students under the canopy, and helping at various activity stations, including the helicopter and Border Patrol presentations. To end the day, they helped pass out snacks in the cafeteria.

Week 2 of Summer GT Camp is underway, and our Winn NHS members were happy to lend a helping hand!

Today, some of our members assisted the 6th grade students with their drone activities, while others worked with the 1st and 2nd grade students during their sock coloring activity. Our members also helped pass out snacks and supported teachers throughout the day to help ensure everything ran smoothly.

A huge thank you to our Winn NHS member for volunteering her time at LDC Summer Bilingual Program today!

Nicole Prieto assisted with the Muppet-themed activities by helping students participate in games, supporting them during the Muppet plays, and guiding them as they created their very own Muppets using brown lunch bags. Thank you for encouraging creativity, learning, and fun for younger students.
