Join Duxbury for All, the Hingham Unity Council, and our partners across the South Shore for the 6th Annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration!

We’re excited to celebrate freedom, culture, and community with an afternoon of free family fun at Hingham Harbor. This year’s event is a collaboration between the Hingham Unity Council, South Shore Unity Council members, and community partners including Duxbury for All.

Come enjoy live entertainment, community organizations, vendors, food, and small Black-owned businesses from across the region.

What does inclusion really look like in Duxbury?

Last month, Duxbury for All partnered with Kupenda for the children to co-host a listening session with local Duxbury residents living with disabilities. Together, we created space to share both what Duxbury is doing well and where there is still room to grow.

We’re grateful to see these voices reflected in a recent article by highlighting the lived experiences of community members.

This work is just beginning. Duxbury for All is actively working to address the needs shared and continue building a town where everyone belongs.

Kupenda was honored to co-lead this conversation, facilitated by founder, , whose lived experience continues to shape this work.
