I copied and pasted from another Masonic FB page.
Something to think about as we move forward, I can honestly say that my brothers in lodge do not let this happen. I will always remember these words. I can only hope that future generations take the time to consider the value of friendship, morality and brotherly love......
He sits on the sidelines
His hair has turned gray
We pass by him, as if to say
Sorry, old Brother, you've had your day.
If we would stop and shake his hand
And tell him we are glad he came
It would mean so much to a tired old man
Just to feel the warmth of a friendly hand.
He lays not claim or re-known or fame,
Only a few remember his name
We may not know whence he came
But he's our Brother, just the same.
Remember all our Brothers always.
He sowed the seeds for us to reap
He paved the way so we could meet
Ever humbled yet somewhat proud
Ever alert to keep his Vows......
