Ready to make this summer legendary? Escape the screen and grab the helm. The UNH Community Sailing Centre has hired additional staff to meet increased demand this summer. The Guppy class, ages 5-7.5, has doubled, and the Mates class – beginner/intermediate sailing for ages 12-18, and the Skippers class, advanced sailing for ages 12-18, have added additional spots as well. Join a crew of new friends for the ultimate, high energy waterfront experience. Spaces are filling up fast—dive into the adventure of a lifetime! UNH Sailing Work Weekend is live! Looking for some strong sailors to help complete work? Look no further than the UNH Sailing Team! This weekend, April 25, 26, and Sunday, May 3, the team is available to handle a variety of requests: yard work, cleaning, painting, and so much more. Please complete the attached form, and we will contact you as soon as possible. Availability is limited, so don’t hesitate!

Interested in being a Junior Sailing, Kayaking, or SUP Instructor this summer at the UNH Community Sailing Centre? We work with kids ages 5-18. The application is now on the UNHsailing.org website. Look for Community Sailing and click on that. There is a dropdown menu, and look for the Junior Instructors page.

The UNH Community Sailing 2026 season is just around the corner!!

The after-school Spring MSST program, which includes Learn to Sail and Race for 7th through 12th graders from any school in the area, will be held the month of May through the first week of June. The informational meeting for the Spring MSST program is on March 31, at 6 pm at the Hamel Recreation Centre, 5 Edgewood Drive in Durham.

The UNH Community Sailing Centre registration goes live at midnight on February 12. Classes fill up quickly, so don’t wait.

The UNH Sailing Team held the 26 Winter Olympics last night for team members who were able to make it. Here are some fun shots of the athletes in the Biathlon, Skeleton, and Curling,.
