The SHARPP Center at UNH provides services to victims/survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence and stalking regardless of gender, age, health status (including HIV-positive), physical, mental, emotional ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression, socio-economic status, race, national origin, immigration status, or religious or political affiliation.

Farewell, Wolff House recap! Thank you to all UNH community members and alumni who attended our goodbye party for this sweet little building we called home for the past 11 years. We couldn’t have imagined a better way to wrap up our time here. Special thank you to Dawn Zitney & Maggie Wells for their thoughtful words and reflections. Both Dawn & Maggie were former SHARPP Center staff members and were the original coordinators of our well known Open House event. In 2011, they worked together to dream up an annual event that helped make the SHARPP Center more accessible, inclusive, and open to all UNH community members. They didn’t know it then- but they were laying the foundation for a staple event that would continue on for well over a decade. The SHARPP Center will remain in Wolff House for a few more months, our transition to our new home (Smith Hall) will occur over the summer. Stay tuned for more information!

On Friday April 24th, join The SHARPP Center and Outdoor Adventures for a reflective hike at Stonehouse Pond. In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, this group hike will serve as an opportunity to reconnect with nature & get outside, form new connections with fellow wildcats, and move your body in a way that feels good for you.

Registration closes on April 22nd, and the fee for this hike is $5. If the cost is a barrier for you, please contact

• help pay for transportation to the hospital for a survivor seeking a SANE exam
• provide emergency housing for a survivor needing a safe place to sleep
• assist with the financial costs of legal representation through a court process
• help a survivor access mental health care/ongoing therapy
• support the financial costs of running a 24/7 helpline

It takes the viewer back through the decades highlighting those whose commitment to interpersonal violence advocacy, prevention, & awareness laid the foundation for the department that exists today.
