The work rural nonprofits do across Texoma creates real, lasting change and strong connections can make that impact go even further. 🤝 Join us for the Rural Nonprofit Connection Reception on Thursday, May 28, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Library!

This come-and-go gathering is a chance to connect with fellow nonprofits from across the Texoma region and the Chickasaw and Choctaw Reservation areas, exchange ideas, build partnerships, and learn more about resources available through the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits.

Since 2011, generous donors to the Chahta Foundation have helped award more than $5 million in scholarship funding to Choctaw students pursuing their dreams across countless disciplines and every level of higher Education.

Because of your support, Choctaw tribal members have been able to create pathways toward brighter futures — from certificate programs and trade schools to undergraduate, graduate, doctorate, and professional degrees. Every scholarship represents opportunity, encouragement, and investment in the next generation of leaders.

The work of the Chahta Foundation would not be possible without our donors and supporters. Every dollar matters; every dollar goes back into supporting Choctaw people and strengthening our communities.
While Education remains a cornerstone of our mission through scholarships and academic support, your generosity also helps us continue important work in our other focus areas:

Thank you again for taking the time to complete your scholarship application. After you submit your application, our team redacts all personal information from essay questions, transcripts, and resumes. Redacted applications are sent to Tribal Members from all over the US who volunteer their time to review and score. Yakoke to our committees, who are hard at work reviewing applications and making scholarships possible!

All scholarship applicants will be notified of their scholarship status no later than June 30th.
