The first round of Adopt a Student Project acceptance emails is being sent out today!

As our team begins matching students with sponsors, we currently have more than 160 students still waiting to be adopted. These students come from North Texas, Bryan County, Atoka County, Marshall County, McCurtain County, and communities everywhere in between.

By adopting a student, you're helping provide back-to-school essentials and giving a child the opportunity to start the school year feeling confident, prepared, and ready to learn.

Our community showed up in a huge way last year, and we’re so excited to begin another season of helping students start the school year confident and prepared.

If you would like to participate in adopting a student, you can now fill out the adoption form and a member of the TPP team will contact you with the next steps.

There are several ways you can help:

✨ Adopt a student for school supplies only
✨ Adopt a student for back to school clothes only
✨ Make a monetary donation
✨ Donate school supplies

Every donation, sponsor, and share helps us reach more children and families in our community.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend.
It’s a reminder of what it means to put others before yourself.
Today, we honor the men and women who served with courage, sacrifice, and selflessness. People who were willing to give everything so others could have freedom, safety, and hope.

At The Payton Project, we believe the best way to honor their legacy is by loving our community well, helping those in need, and choosing kindness even when no one is watching.

🎒📚 SCHOOL MAY HAVE JUST ENDED… BUT WE’RE ALREADY PLANNING FOR NEXT YEAR 📚🎒

The Payton Project is excited to announce a brand new back-to-school initiative: The Adopt a Student Project ❤️

We believe no child should walk into school feeling behind before the first bell even rings. A new outfit, school supplies, and a backpack may seem small to some, but to a child, it can mean confidence, belonging, and a fresh start.
This program will help provide students with:�👕 A brand new outfit�🎒 A new backpack�📓 School supplies

Applications will go live on June 1st at 10:00 AM.
Families will be asked to provide:�• Age�• Gender�• School�• Clothing sizes�• Shoe sizes

This program is open to all students from Pre-K through Senior year and is available to students attending all surrounding schools.

Information regarding student adoption, sponsorship opportunities, and our official back-to-school event will be announced soon.

Happy Birthday to our wonderful Vice President, Kayleigh! 🎉

Kayleigh is truly one of the kindest, most humble, and generous people you could ever meet. No matter what life throws her way, she continues to lead with grace, love, and compassion, and that says a lot about her character.

She has built a beautiful life with her high school sweetheart, created an amazing family, and has become such a huge part of what makes The Payton Project special. Her heart for people and quiet dedication never go unnoticed.
Some people shine loudly, and some people shine through the way they treat others every single day. Kayleigh is definitely the second kind.

We are so thankful for everything she does and even more thankful for the person she is. Happy Birthday, Kayleigh! 🩷🎂

Happy Mother’s Day to the incredible moms of The Payton Project. 💐

The women behind this organization wear a lot of hats, board members, volunteers, planners, problem-solvers, late-night answerers of messages… but their most important role is being moms.

The love, patience, strength, and compassion they pour into their own families is the same heart they bring to every child and family we serve. The Payton Project wouldn’t be what it is without the mothers who show up day after day, even while balancing careers, kids, schedules, and life.

Today we celebrate the amazing moms on our board and all the mothers in our community who love fiercely, give endlessly, and make the world a little softer for children who need it most. 🩷

The Payton Project had the opportunity to be part of a Met Gala experience this weekend, and we made it count.
With a Pearls & Prohibition theme, we told a story about the pressure so many children carry… and what happens when they’re met with love, support, and care.
Because when kids are supported, they rise. Every time.

We’re honored to have won Best Choreographed Walk, but even more honored to represent the “why” behind what we do.

Today we are celebrating our favorite person Jordan, who absolutely does not want a birthday post… so naturally, here we are.

As TPP Treasurer, he keeps us in line, keeps the numbers straight, and occasionally crushes our “fun ideas” with logic and responsibility (rude, but necessary). Honestly, we’d probably be in chaos without him, but don’t worry, we won’t admit that too loudly.

Outside of TPP, he somehow manages to be an amazing husband and a great dad too… overachiever.

So here’s your public birthday acknowledgment that you didn’t ask for. We appreciate you, even if you pretend to hate every second of this.
