Helping Mamas provides baby supplies, furniture and equipment to non-profits serving low income women and children. When mamas and babies have their basic needs met, they are able to benefit from the services provided by traditional non-profits: shelter from domestic violence, parenting education, job training and coaching, financial coaching, support services for medically fragile children and th

eir families, etc. Our "Helping Mamas" volunteer and pay it forward every day. They organize baby supplies and deliver to our partner organizations. They host baby showers, diaper drives and help us raise in-kind and monetary donations to help mamas take care of their children's needs.

When Stellantis came to our warehouse, they came ready to work. A drive brought in 1,400 period supplies, and their hands helped assemble 201 complete kits! This is what partnership looks like: showing up, pitching in, and understanding that families in Atlanta deserve access to the basics.

We're saying goodbye to our summer student volunteer Kylie, and we're grateful for everything she brought to the team. Here's what she had to say about her experience.

"I am so grateful for my time at Helping Mamas this summer. Before starting, I didn't fully realize the scale of the organization's impact or all that happened behind the scenes to support families in need. Getting to analyze the data and see just how many lives Helping Mamas is impacting was eye-opening. This experience gave me a much deeper appreciation for what it takes to run a non-profit and the dedication of the people behind it. I've learned so much this summer, and I'm thankful to have been able to contribute to such a meaningful organization!"

What a special day between the hedges! ❤️🖤

Helping Mamas was honored to join the Kirby Smart Family Foundation at Sanford Stadium for its annual giving day and to be surrounded by so many incredible organizations working to strengthen communities across Georgia.

We are incredibly grateful to receive a $10,000 Red Zone Award from the Foundation! This generous support will help Helping Mamas provide car seats and pack-n-plays to families who need safe options for their
babies to sleep and travel.

In 2026 alone, the Kirby Smart Family Foundation awarded more than $300,000 to nonprofits across Georgia. We are so thankful to Kirby and Mary Beth Smart and the entire Foundation for investing in organizations serving children and families throughout our state.

And an extra highlight of the day was getting to celebrate alongside our friends at the Athens Area Diaper Bank, another grant recipient. We love seeing diaper need recognized and supported across Georgia!

Thank you, Kirby Smart Family Foundation, for being champions for Georgia families—and for supporting Helping Mamas as we work to ensure more babies have the essentials they need to be safe and healthy. ❤️
