This week, we had the pleasure of hosting the Gwinnett Municipal Association and sharing how Partnership Gwinnett works every day to drive business, talent, and community across our region.

With leaders from so many of Gwinnett’s municipalities gathered in one room, it was a great opportunity to celebrate what we can accomplish together through collaboration and partnership. As the county with the most municipalities in Georgia, Gwinnett’s strength lies in the unique communities that make up our county and the shared vision that unites us.

Since 2007, Partnership Gwinnett has helped support projects that have generated more than $7 billion in capital investment and created more than 39,000 new jobs. These successes are only possible because of the strong partnerships among our cities, county government, educational institutions, businesses, and community leaders.

Thank you to the Gwinnett Municipal Association and all of our municipal partners for helping make Gwinnett one of the most dynamic and competitive communities in the nation. Together, we're building what’s next for Gwinnett!

Internships usually teach students how to do a job. The Intern Mix on June 18 teaches them how to build a network.

At the Intern Mix, interns from across Gwinnett are stepping out of the office and into a room filled with peers, young professionals, and future industry connections.

For employers, this is more than a summer social. It is a chance to help interns feel connected to the region, strengthen professional development, and show them why Gwinnett is a place worth building a career after graduation.

If your company is hosting interns this summer, we would love to welcome them to the Intern Mix.

When PCOM Georgia chose Suwanee as home, it wasn’t just about building a medical school, it was about investing in Gwinnett’s future.

Every day, students at PCOM Georgia are training to become the doctors, pharmacists, physical therapists, and healthcare leaders our growing community needs. They’re learning in world-class labs. They’re serving in real clinics. And they’re staying local by practicing in Gwinnett and surrounding counties where demand for care is rising fast.

In a county with nearly a million residents, and one of the most diverse populations in the Southeast, having a healthcare education hub like PCOM is vital.

PCOM Georgia strengthens our workforce, fills critical care gaps, and ensures Gwinnett has the talent it needs to support a healthier, more resilient community.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a... medical facility? Medway Air Ambulance sends aircraft into the sky that function like flying hospital rooms. Picture a jet where passenger seats give way to cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and a clinical crew trained for moments when hesitation is not an option.

Let's break down how it works. Someone is far from the care they need. Another country. A rural community without specialists. A hospital that can stabilize but not complete the next step. Instead of navigating traffic, a plane departs.

Inside that aircraft, the patient is under continuous medical supervision. Vital signs tracked. Medication administered. Treatment adjusted midair. It is an intensive care unit with altitude.

From Lawrenceville, Medway coordinates missions that stretch across continents. What looks like a quiet operation on the ground connects Gwinnett to hospitals, and healthcare systems around the world. Families waiting in living rooms here are linked to physicians overseas. A runway becomes a bridge between global care networks and local households.

Their Gwinnett connection extends beyond aviation. Medway also leverages the Collins Hill Aquatic Center at Collins Hill High School to help train aircraft nurses for water rescue and emergency response scenarios, tying specialized medical preparation back into local community assets.

That is infrastructure in a form many overlook. Companies like Medway strengthen Gwinnett’s position as a hub where healthcare, logistics, and aviation intersect. While clouds drift past the window, a medical team keeps watch. Another airport departure. Another patient's relief.
