DuRide is a local non-profit service that provides a safe and personalized transportation option for seniors who cannot drive, with volunteer drivers.

DuRide is a local non-profit service that provides a safe and personalized transportation option for seniors who are unable or do not want to drive any longer. DuRide offers private car service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. DuRide is a safe and economical way for seniors to maintain their independence and stay connected with family, friends and the community. All DuRide volunteers complete a background check, hold a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance. If you are 65 or older, you can use DuRide. If you have a parent or relative who would benefit from using DuRide, you can set up an account for them. DuRide is available in Dubuque, Asbury and East Dubuque.

Keeping a DuRide ride affordable takes more than good intentions, it takes a community that shows up.

Save the date, Dubuque! On Sunday, September 13 at 2pm, Seniors Got Talent is hosting a 55+ Variety Show at Culbie's Event Center — and proceeds benefit DuRide.

Come enjoy banquet-style seating, a cash bar, light bites, and a stage full of local talent, with free and accessible parking to boot. Suggested donation is $20/ticket or $100/table (cash, check, or card — walk-ins welcome!), and reservations go to [email protected].
