Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, dear community,
Once each year, we dedicate a Friday fundraiser to support the Outreach Department at NICC. This year, it falls on September 11, a date that carries special significance.
As we all know, in the years since our faith was hijacked on that tragic day, misinformation, prejudice, and anti-Muslim hatred have affected Muslims across our country. One of the most effective ways to combat fear is through education, relationships, and service. That is exactly what NICC Outreach strives to do every day.
Your support makes possible programs such as:
• Discover Islam. Weekly (and often additional) presentations introducing the basics of Islam, guided mosque tours, opportunities to observe salah, and the distribution of educational materials and Qur’an translations.
• Interfaith Engagement. Our annual Ramadan Interfaith Iftar, educational seminars, community dialogues, and service initiatives that bring together faith leaders and neighbors to build understanding and lasting relationships.
• New Muslim Support. Welcoming our new brothers and sisters with welcome packages, weekly halaqas, Eid brunches and dinners, mentorship, and ongoing educational and social support.
• Prison Outreach. Providing incarcerated Muslims with Qur’ans, prayer rugs, educational resources, and spiritual encouragement.
• School & Community Outreach.Supporting local schools through teacher appreciation events, Ramadan gift baskets, classroom presentations, and resources that help educators better understand and support Muslim students.
Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us continue this essential work on behalf of our entire community.
May Allah reward your generosity and allow us to continue being ambassadors of our faith through knowledge, compassion, and service.
Please donate generously today.
