Our Mission Statement is: To help alleviate child hunger in Weakley County, Tennessee by providing hungry children with nutritious and easy to prepare food at times when other resources are not available such as on the weekend and school vacations. Our mission is to meet the needs of hungry children by providing nutritious meals on the weekends and other school vacations when school resources are
not available. Although many children may qualify, we only serve the neediest students as determined by the faculty and staff. A packet of food is placed in each child's backpack each Friday before they leave school by the staff. This organization is non-profit and relies entirely on private donations. For as little as $200 you can sponsor a child for a year. However, any amount is appreciated! Donations can be sent to PO Box 804 Dresden, TN 38225 or dropped off at any Simmons Bank location.
