Dothan Area Young Professionals Dothan Area Young Professionals (DAYP) offers a great way for young professionals in the Wiregrass area of Southeast Alabama to network & socialize.

The Dothan Area Young Professionals (DAYP) is an organization which offers a great way for young professionals in the Wiregrass area to network, socialize and expand their professional horizons. The Dothan Area Young Professionals originated under the community's ENVISION initiative. The program is now sponsored by the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and falls under the Chamber's program of work.

DAYP began with an explosive launch during the summer of 2007 with a simple agenda: to enrich our community by uniting and developing our young professionals (ages 21-41). With many exciting initiatives on the horizon we have an opportunity to be a part of creating Dothan’s future. DAYP serves as a vehicle for current and young professionals to:

-Enhance their professional skills through a series of professional development luncheons & workshops.

-Promote participation in philanthropic activities through community outreach projects.

-Network with existing young professionals through social events.

Get ready for an unforgettable evening! The Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and Dothan Area Young Professionals invite you to Aces for the Arts on April 17 at The Grand, from 6:00–9:30 PM.

Enjoy a lively casino-themed night while supporting the performing arts right here in the Wiregrass. Proceeds from game buybacks will benefit Alabama Dance Works and SEACT, helping enrich arts programming throughout our community. 🎭
