The morning has start off pleasantly cool, but temperatures will warm quickly once the sun comes up, with most areas expected to reach the low to mid 90s by afternoon. We do expect storms to begin developing by late this evening, then continuing overnight and lasting into early Thursday. All of Middle Tennessee is at least a level 1 out of 5 in terms of severe storm risk, but areas around Clarksville, Wavery and Dover stand to be the most impacted. The primary risks are strong to severe winds and heavy rain. There is also a very low threat of large hail and tornadoes.

Units on scene Tanker 91, Brush 91, Squad 92, Sylvia Yellow Creek Fire Department, Dickson County EMA, Tennessee City Fire Department, McEwen Fire Department, Houston County Fire Department, Dickson County EMS, Dickson County Sheriff's Office and Dickson Electric Department.
