Dickson County Jail Chaplaincy We provide chaplaincy services for the Dickson County Sheriff's office. Come and see! God has blessed this work in many ways. Our mailing address is: DCJC P.O.

In 2010 the Dickson County Ministerial Alliance gave birth to the Dickson County Jail Chaplaincy project designed to provide the Dickson County Jail with an on-site chaplain to minister to its inmates and staff at no cost to the county. The chaplaincy is supported by churches in our county from different denominations demonstrating remarkable unity in the body of Christ for the purpose of his work in the jail. The chaplain organizes approximately volunteers who provide not only Bible studies, but drug and alcohol recovery classes, parenting classes, adult education programs, Journey to Freedom, and re-entry programs for inmates. The positive impact of the chaplaincy to the overall jail environment has been testified to by the inmates and staff alike. Please pray for this important ministry. For more information or to inquire about supporting this ministry please contact Chaplain Mike Burton at [email protected]. Box 557, Charlotte, Tn. 37036

What a great weekend at Recovery Fest Dickson! The Dickson County Jail Chaplaincy was well represented by our Chaplin and several of our volunteers who spent the day connecting with the community. Sheriff Eads even joined in on the fun! We enjoyed meeting so many new people and sharing about the work God is doing through the ministry!
