Update: The A/C is working again and there is lots to choose from !!

We are so proud of Roger, of Joe, and all the folks working hard out there in Dickson, TN. They've battled the heat wave with no A/C, moved and installed and broken down and reinstalled pallet racking, shelving, displays and all with the same aim - to better serve our nonprofit member-partners.

Invocation completed its inaugural Compliance seminar yesterday in Dickson, TN. WHAT A SUCCESS!!

For those that missed it, we hosted a few dozen agencies', organization's, and churches staff and leaders.

Chef Anthony Beverly provided a scrumptious noon meal. Officers of InVocation Training were introduced, Kody Okert, Phil Tew, Michael McDonald and Elisa Ilardi to provide context of their roles in the company to assist our partners.

Shelly Courington from Evergreen Strategic Solutions was introduced and spoke to the assembly about nonprofit strategic assistance and... our CEO and founder Kenny Purvis delivered the final keynote address!

To support First Lady Maria Lee’s vision for serving foster families in Tennessee, InVocation had the honor of collaborating with the Office of the First Lady and TN Governor’s Faith-Based and Community Initiative on an event where foster families could enjoy quality time together and take home gifts for every member of the family!

InVocation thoughtfully curated an array of items for Foster Family Fun Night, covering all ages, interests, and needs. Every child was able to personally select their gifts—from toys to dolls to apparel to games—and receive a backpack and hygiene kit!🎒 To treat the parents, InVocation also contributed kitchen appliances, home tools, and more.

We feel incredibly grateful to have participated in such an impactful event and to work alongside a Governor and First Lady who dream big for Tennessee kids.

Today is Good Friday. Not so named because of the crucifixion but rather because of the victory over sin and eternal death away from God. This weekend, wherever you are, take time to reflect on the sacrifice made for which we commemorate this day, and on the resurrection that gave us Life with the Lord instead of death without Him. Happy Resurrection Day, everyone!

Invocation is hosting its first Compliance Seminar in Dickson, TN, on May 28th, 2026. Invocation registered member partners only, except by Director approval.
