We had no idea the power of horses in a therapy environment until we volunteered at Lantern Lane Farm Counseling. It is so much more than... We'll just say there is an emotional connection that allows for healing in a way that would often not be possible otherwise. And everyone at the location does such a beautiful job to provide a peaceful setting to meet people where they are on their healing journey. Adding to the day, we joined in with a group form the local REI distribution center that impressed us because, more than a photo op, they found ways to be a true partner in their community.

We had the privilege to spend Saturday morning at The Big Backpack Giveaway in Williamson County. We learned the heart of all involved that put so much effort throughout the year to make it happen and came away with an understanding of the need in a way we would not have otherwise.

The NTT Indycar series at the Nashville Superspeedway! The official race tomorrow, qualifying rounds was today.

Biking in to Nashville and ran up on this crew making it an early morning, already way down the the Nashville Greenway setting up for the Music City Freedom Festival 5k. 🤗🥳 Made my morning 🌞

The Butterfly Festival in the 'boro! The best part was probably the foam party for the kids! Didn't stay long enough to catch the mid state cloggers, but I bet it was pretty good!
