Now on view in the DDD:
Saxophonist by María Blanchard.

Painted in 1919, this work reflects Blanchard’s expressive Cubist style through fragmented form, bold composition, and a sense of musical rhythm. Blanchard was the first woman in Spain to adopt the Cubist style.

Presented in partnership with the Inside|Out program.

It’s weekend in Detroit.

Two weeks ago, the Detroit Design District was thrilled to host the x gathering alongside some of Detroit’s best local talent.

The DDD exists as a collision of creative forms — art, design, fashion, architecture, storytelling, music, movement, and culture all influencing one another in real time. And when music enters the space, it adds an entirely different level of frequency.

Enjoy this special weekend, all 🎧

This month partnered with at the DDD to bring together Detroit’s creative community to have important conversations surrounding the gaps, the dreams, and the actions required to shape Detroit’s next era. We are proud to be a space and platform where these kind of impactful discussions take place. The future is bright, and it’s fueled by Detroit’s creatives.

is a meaningful moment.

It’s an honor to host not just one, but two exhibitions as part of the conference here in Detroit. As someone shared with me, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—and it truly feels that way.

We’re thrilled to welcome into the Detroit Design District gallery. Their exhibition is a powerful reflection of emerging creative voices, and we’re proud to provide a space for that work to be experienced fully.

Please take a moment to explore the exhibition from March 13-28 with the Exhibition Reception on March 27, 5:30-9pm.

This is exactly why the Detroit Design District exists. To create space. To elevate artists. To bring visibility and energy to the creative ecosystem that makes this city so special.
