Ready for some acro fun?! We've got a weekend full of acro coming your way!

FRIDAY
Acro Jam 7-10PM (may go later)
$10

SATURDAY!
$25 per workshop or $40 for both. Please pay the respective teachers independently. For example, if you plan to do both workshops, then each teacher should be paid $20. Jam time is included with payment to a workshop!

🦯Blind Acro with Chris Marx
1:30-3:00 PM
Join us for a fun and sightless way to move with others. Chicago teacher/practitioner Chris Marx blends humor, blindfolds, and tactile queues in a fresh approach to acro. Fly blind, why not? All skill levels welcome

💅🏼Acro with Kimo Frederiksen and Matt Duff
4:30- 6:00PM
The Lion and the Duff mister will be teaching variations on pops. Meant to be beginner friendly and open to all! Building from simple to higher skills. Learn the many ways to pop from bird to throne and maybe adding a whip if we sassy enough.

🔥Hoop Skill Share🔥

A skill share is an informal gathering of hoopers. The goal is to spread community love and encourage people to bring a move or two that they'd like to share with the community (even if it's intro level). If you are nervous about your skill level and don't feel like you have a lot to offer, no worries! That is what Emma is here for. She will ensure that everyone feels welcomed and included! We will have extra hoops available.
Workshop starts at 8:00PM
Workshop Fee: Donation-Based 💛

At 9:30 we host a short community meeting and then invite people to light up! All new attendees are required to attend a fire safety meeting. 🔥

If you want to spin fire wear non-synthetic clothing. These materials include but are not limited to cotton, wool, leather, silk, & some rayon 👕

We have lots of extra props for people to use! These props can be found in our Toy Boxes! 🤹

We provide fuel for fire spinning! If you want to use another fuel please ask first. If you plan to breathe fire, communicate with your safety in advance, as not all fire safety's are comfortable safetying fire breathing. 🚀

Getting into the beginning basics moves. Get started on your contact adventure or come brush up on your skills. Going over conveyor belts, half Steves, halos, and angle rolls. Understanding  these moves will unlock multiple paths ways and give you more freedom with your flow!
