🚨 Detroit ranked first on IQAir’s live list of major cities with the world’s worst air quality Thursday morning as thick Canadian wildfire smoke settled across Metro Detroit. Air quality reached hazardous levels and is expected to worsen this afternoon as more smoke moves into Southeast Michigan. Residents should limit time outdoors and keep windows closed.

Aevitas plans to rebuild and restore operations, intending to begin the construction process on July 20, 2026. But first it must receive approvals both from the City of Detroit and the State of Michigan.
