La Casita Detroit Construction Update:

Dear Friends, family, and supporters,

We finally have a Special Land Use Hearing scheduled for Wednesday June 24th. This hearing, and subsequent decision from the Zoning Division, is the final hurdle before we can pull permits and break ground.

Letters of support from the community are a key aspect of the process. If you have attended any of our events and support the construction of our very own Boricua Casita in Detroit please consider sending us an email of support at [email protected]. We would greatly appreciate it!

Also, keep an eye out here for the message launching of our online fundraising to bridge the gap in construction funds soon!
