Our 6-week workshop series designed to support parents who are 2 weeks to 2 years postpartum through movement, education, and community. This collaboration between The Village Personal Training & Wellness, Birth Detroit, and Pelvic Noire offers a holistic approach to help you prepare for the early months of postpartum better known as the 4th trimester.

This Indigenous Peoples Day, we honor the Indigenous communities whose traditions, wisdom, and love have cared for families for generations.

Thank you to the National Council of Indigenous Midwives - NCIM for uplifting Indigenous midwives and reminding us that Indigenous midwifery is resilient. While their work centers Indigenous communities in Canada, this message resonates across borders. Indigenous midwives everywhere deserve to be celebrated, supported, and empowered to care for their communities.

Birth Detroit also honors the Indigenous peoples, including the Anishinaabe peoples of the Three Fires Confederacy, whose ancestral land our birth center stands on. We recognize the generations who have cared for this land and honor their enduring connection to it.
