Hazleton City Councilman and Oelwein pastor is facing felony charges. Hayden James Robinson, 34, of Hazleton, is in custody at the Polk County Jail after being arrested on charges of intimidation with a dangerous weapon and arson – second degree, both Class C felonies, as well as aggravated misdemeanor child endangerment and harassment – first degree and misdemeanor domestic abuse assault. He faces over 20 years in prison if convicted. Robinson allegedly left multiple voicemails on a victim’s phone.

“The defendant was threatening to kill the victim,” said an officer with the Johnston Police Department in a sworn statement. “The defendant stated that he’s going to crucify her, slit her throat, chop her into many pieces, and that they will have to make a Netflix documentary. The defendant also stated that there aren’t enough bullets in the world to put into the victim.”

A Hazleton City Councilman and Oelwein pastor is facing felony charges.
