10% of all sales during the fundraiser will support our Washington, D.C. trip in April 2027! 🇺🇸

Our women veterans will travel to D.C. to:
🇺🇸 Meet and network with policymakers
🏛️ Visit memorials and monuments
🤝 Build connections and strengthen our community

Good food, a beautiful walk, and some time together. ❤️

For our October Monthly Meet & Greet yesterday, we had lunch at Riverbend Pub & Grill in Manchester, walked along the Maquoketa River, and stopped by a memorial placed by Lorraine Zangerle’s family that says, “Remember All Female Veterans.” What an incredible way to honor this warrior. We loved seeing a statue that looked like US.

We never had the opportunity to meet Lorraine, but after her passing, her family chose to give $10,000 to TSWW in her memory, with the goal of supporting women veterans.

We’re incredibly grateful for that generosity and excited to put it to work. We’re going to make sure those dollars do what they were intended to do: help women veterans.

A pretty great way to spend a Saturday. ❤️🇺🇸

Volunteer drivers are ✨ incredibly important ✨ to ensuring Veterans get healthcare, and the drivers positively affect the lives of the veterans we serve. But we need more drivers to assist! You don’t have to be a veteran to volunteer, and you can volunteer as much or as little as you choose.

One of our Rising Phoenix Award nominees, Jordan Rigel, is shining everywhere!

🇺🇸 Hidden Hero: Jordan Rigel
In his September report earlier this month, Veterans Affairs Director Yolando Loveless recognized Jordan Rigel as a Hidden Hero, honoring her six years of honorable service in the U.S. Marine Corps.

As an Administrative Specialist, Jordan supported critical operations by managing personnel records, coordinating mission-critical documentation, and ensuring smooth administrative operations in high-pressure environments. She also mentored and trained junior Marines, helping maintain high standards of readiness and performance.

Her dedication to service was recognized with two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals and a Good Conduct Medal.
Thank you, Jordan, for your dedication, leadership, and service to our country. 🇺🇸
