Happy Birthday, U.S. Army!

Today we celebrate 251 years of service, sacrifice, and dedication to our nation.

Since June 14, 1775, generations of Soldiers have answered the call to serve—defending our freedoms, supporting communities, and carrying forward a legacy of courage and commitment.

On this Army Birthday, we honor all who have worn the uniform, including the women who have served and continue to serve with strength, leadership, and distinction.

To all Army veterans, active-duty Soldiers, National Guard members, Reservists, and military families: thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Today, we recognize the American flag as a symbol of our nation's history, ideals, and the many individuals who have served and sacrificed under its colors.

For some, the flag represents service. For others, it represents freedom, opportunity, resilience, or the loved ones who wore the uniform before them.

Whatever it means to you, Flag Day offers an opportunity to reflect on our shared history and the values we continue to strive toward as a nation.

Today, we honor and celebrate Women Veterans Recognition Day, June 12th.

Women have served our country with courage, dedication, and sacrifice throughout our nation's history. Their contributions have strengthened our military, our communities, and the generations that follow.

To all women veterans—whether you served for four years or twenty, whether your service was visible to others or carried quietly within you—thank you.

Today, we recognize your service, honor your sacrifices, and celebrate the paths you have helped pave for future generations of women.

If you're a woman veteran, we'd love to hear from you. Share your branch of service and years served in the comments so our community can help celebrate you. Please also share a woman veteran you'd like to honor today. 💚
