Bond of Unity Food Pantry Family,

We are excited to announce that Loyalty Love Clothing Co. and Us Vs Them (UVT) have partnered with the Bond of Unity Food Pantry, New Beginnings Discipleship Ministries and Hy-Vee to bless our community with 100 turkeys for families in need!

Location: Bond of Unity Food Pantry
530 NE Broadway, Des Moines, IA 50313
Date: Wednesday, November 26th
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Important Details:
- One (1) turkey per household.
- All current BOU clients who have visited the pantry during the month of November are eligible to ONLY receive 1 turkey per household.
- If you are NOT a client of BOU or have NOT visited the pantry during the month of November, you will receive 1 turkey per household AND our standard distribution of 3 meals per family member.

Good evening! A heads up on our open dates for the month of November as they are outside of our normal schedule.

The Bond Of Unity Food Pantry will be open:

Thursday, November 6th (2 PM to 4 PM) and Wednesday, November 26th (2 PM to 4 PM).

Just a reminder that families may utilize the pantry one time per month.

NOTICE: Urgent Announcement for all Bond Of Unity Food Pantry customers:

Due to the Food Bank of Iowa restrictions we will be making changes to our food pantry.

Effective immediately, The Bond Of Unity will be open every other Thursday from 2 PM - 4 PM. Families will be permitted to access the food pantry once per month. These changes will begin with our September 2025 schedule which is as follows:

September 4th, 2025 2 PM - 4 PM
September 18th, 2025 2 PM - 4 PM

If you access the food pantry on September 4th, you would need to wait until October 2, 16 or 30th (2 PM - 4 PM).

School pantries are now available in your area and we can provide information as needed or you may dial 211 to get additional food pantry information/hours of operation if needed.
