New Step Outreach

New Step Outreach NSO is a Veteran family ran 501(c)(3)non-profit. Services we provide: Monthly Senior/Veteran/Disabled commodity boxes.

What that means: we rely solely on donations to operate - to move forward with our mission: bringing HOPE into the lives of Senior Citizens & Veterans & bringing HOPE during natural Disasters Disaster Relief Supplies (hurricane, tornado, house fire), Community Random Acts of Kindness (nursing home gifts, hospital gifts, holiday baskets, BBQ's & community feeding, etc.), Licensed Chaplain services, Biblical Lay Counseling - helping with a new perspective.

Delta 7 Seven LE MC Cosa Nostra - the answer immediately was yes - what do you need? We loaded up supplies to go to our neighboring parish that is flooding bad!! Thank you Dale & Tex for giving us the opportunity to help out - again community coming together to help other communities.

Flash Flooding

⚠️ PARISH-WIDE FLOODING ALERT ⚠️
The National Weather Service has issued Flash Flood Warnings for our area, and numerous roads across the parish are experiencing flooding and high water conditions.
❗ DO NOT attempt to drive through flooded roadways. Water depth is often impossible to judge, and even a small amount of moving water can sweep a vehicle off the roadway.
🚧 If you encounter water covering a road:✅ Turn around and find an alternate route.✅ Follow all road closure signs and barricades.✅ Slow down and use extreme caution during heavy rainfall.
Remember: Turn Around, Don’t Drown®. Most flood-related fatalities occur in vehicles when drivers attempt to cross flooded roads.
Please continue to monitor weather conditions, heed all warnings from the National Weather Service, and avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improve.
Stay alert, stay safe, and report hazardous road conditions to local authorities
